22/06/2006: VIS to Distribute RMS Roller-Grinder

VIS recently entered into an agreement with RMS Roller-Grinder of Sioux Falls, S.D. to market the RMS product line in Western Canada and to VIS customers. RMS has been manufacturing Roller Mills for grinding, cracking and crimping since 1989. This product line compliments the VIS product line of material handling, bulk storage and processing equipment servicing the grain, ethanol and livestock feed industries.

Mr. Gary Kaiser, General Sales Manager of RMS, suggests that "as Western Canadian livestock producers increase their feed processing capabilities, they will be looking to incorporate the benefits of a grinding roller mill. We see a good market for RMS Roller-Grinders in Western Canada and we feel VIS is in a strong position to develop the market."

George Vis, President of VIS, explained that "the RMS products compliment the VIS product line very well and RMS brings with it extensive industry experience and years of product testing that will benefit Western Canadian livestock producers and grain processors. VIS' background in feed processing and grain handling make the RMS products a natural fit."

VIS and RMS will provide a complete service of technical design, installation and start up assistance, parts and roll exchange and re-grooving. VIS will also be installing an RMS 12 x 18 two pair roller grinder in their Oak Bluff, MB testing facility for demonstration and product testing.
